Biography:

Thapelo Maseko is a Laboratory Technician at Nelson Mandela University (NMU), DSI-Mandela Nanomedicine Platform, Faculty of Health Science. He completed his BSc Biotechnology degree at The University of the University. While completing his degree, he did different modules which include Chemistry (Organic, Inorganic and Analytical), Biology, Mathematics, Statistics, Biochemistry, Human Biology, Microbiology and Industrial Biotechnology.

He was involved in the National Youth Service Program created by the Department of Science and Innovation (DSI) in collaboration with the South African Agency for Science and Technology Advancement (SAASTA) and he was placed at Nabio Consulting where he worked as a Nanomedicine Ambassador.
