L&T Colloquium

Health service delivery in South Africa takes place against specific socio-economic challenges such as limited resources, inequalities, geographical inequalities and a rapidly expanding need for digitally competent health and wellness practitioners. Innovations in health sciences education must focus on improving access to services for all, across socio-economic and geographical diversities.

This colloquium sets out to focus on innovations in pedagogy and programme delivery that stimulate critical thinking and engagement through our classroom practices with a purpose to enhance student success and wellbeing while developing health and wellbeing practitioners who are socially responsive citizens and transformative practitioners. The colloquium, taking place over two days will host panel conversations, presentations, workshops and poster presentations around the seven sub-themes.
